Jour 1
Arrivée à

A tour to the norther historical site with a ground transportation, visiting different old monuments, mountain,old rock hewn church's, animals, birds, people and it is culture.

13 Days historical Tour
Day 01 : Addis Ababa. 
   -Tour the Ethnographic Museum, a great introduction to Ethiopian culture and history.  Visit the Mercato, one of Africa's largest outdoor markets.  Trinity Cathedral.  Visit the National Museum, home of the 3.18 million year old skeleton "Lucy." Overnight Hotel.

Day 02 : Addis Ababa- Bhair Dar 
- Drive to Bhair Dar, visiting The 13th c monastery of Debre Libanos, The Blue Nile Gorge which is compared to Grand Canyon in America ,Meet the Oromo people, house and village visit & Optional birding en route. Stop at Debre markos for launch afterward continuous drividng bahir dar stop for stretching legs! Overnight at Hotel!

Day 03 : Bahirdar
-Morning have boat ride to visit the island Monasteries of Lake Tana and source or the exited of the blue Nile. then afternoon visit the Blue Nile Falls Hotel 35 km to Blue falls 1 hour 30 minuets moderate walk to the Falls, walking shoes preferable overnight Hotel.
 
Day 04 : Bahir dar- Gonder 
- Drive to Gondar Tour the Royal Enclosure, a UNESCO World Heritage site featuring five castles built by a succession of Ethiopian Kings beginning in the early 17th century. Having survived several wars, including air raids during World War 2, the castles are a testament to the resilience of this once mighty African Empire. Visit the church of Debre Birhan Selassie, famous for its religious art and especially its iconic ceiling depicting angels.  Overnight at Hotel.
 
Day 05 : Gondor-Semien National Park
-Drive to the Semien Mountains National Park one of the the high roof of Africa & UNESCO heritage sight, visit Spectacular mountain scenery,  Spotting endemic mammals & Hiking on the escarpment. Semien Lodge 122km to the Lodge +- 4 hours Moderate to tough optional hiking. 30 minuets – 2 hrs. walking shoes required overnight Lodge.
 
Day 06 : semien- Axum
Drive to Axum alongside the Semien Mountains range with spectacular scenery. Non flight day Moderate drive on gravel road with leg stretch walk in between & stop for picture . Overnight Hotel.

Day 07 : full day in Axum
the ancient stelae fields, standing for 2000 years of The archeological sites and St’ Mary of Tsion (Zion) Church the final resting place of the Ark of the Covenant. Hotel Sites and hotels are centrally located Non Flight day Very simple, sandal shoes OK Overnight Hotel.

Day 08 : Axum - Ghiralta Lodge. 
Drive to the Ghiralta Lodge passing the Adwa battlefield, site of Emperor Menelik II's 1895 victory over the invading Italians. Visit the 2,500 year old ruins of Yeha, an ancient moon temple.  Scale a cliff to visit the 6th century Monastery of Debre Damo, perched atop a remote plateau (only men are allowed on the monastery grounds.)  Continue past Adigrat and visit Medhane Alem Kesho one of the Tigray region's oldest and finest rock churches. Overnight Lodge.

Day 09 : Hawzein-Mekele
- visit one of the famous rock churches in the surroundings of Hawzein(Tigray) and local villages. Scale climb up 1hours & 30 minutes to up & same to go down a mount to Visit the monastery of Abune Yemata the most difficult & stunning rock hewn church. Optional for who can’t climb visit Mariam Papasity, of which takes only 20-30minutes to go up & dawn.  Monastery Debresion is also another option to visit. Abrehawe Atsbeha also a possible it is just of the road. After wards procese to Mekele! Overnight Hotel.

Day 10 : Mekele - Lalibela. 
 -Drive on a scenic road to Lalibela of the Beautiful mountain scenery, Meet the Amhara people, house and village visit. Hotel 360km to Lalibela +- 8 hrs Tough drive on half gravel/asphalt road with some stops & leg stretch walk. Arrive at your hotel in the late afternoon and enjoy the sunset from the terrace. Overnight Hotel.

Day 11 : Lalibela. 
  -Tour the magnificent rock-hewn churches of Lalibela, a UNESCO World Heritage site. This group of eleven monolithic and semi-monolithic structures were carved directly into the stone of the mountainside at least 800 years ago.  This complex boasts the largest monolithic church in the world, a maze of passageways and tunnels, intricately carved reliefs, and fabulous examples of icon paintings. Overnight Hotel.

Day 12 : Lalibela.  
  -Take a morning hike with mules (optional) to Mount Asheton, with its 13th century rock-hewn monastery and great views of the town.  Or, take an excursion to Yemrehanna Kristos, a beautiful church situated in a shallow cave that actually predates the churches of Lalibela.  The drive to Yemrehanna will also give you the opportunity to view the rural countryside and villages of the Ethiopian highlands.  Following lunch, continue your tour of the Lalibela churches. Overnight Hotel.

Day 13 : Lalibela- Addis Ababa 
Fly back to Addis Ababa with Ethiopian airline, retire day Optional souvenir shopping in the afternoon. More over in the evening enjoy Farewell dinner at a traditional Ethiopian restaurant featuring dancers and musicians representing some of the country's many ethnic groups. Overnight Hotel.

This group of eleven monolithic and semi-monolithic structures were carved directly into the stone of the mountainside at least 800 years ago.  This complex boasts the largest monolithic church in the world, a maze of passageways and tunnels, intricately carved reliefs, and fabulous examples of icon paintings. Overnight Hotel.

Day 12 : Lalibela.  
  -Take a morning hike with mules (optional) to Mount Asheton, with its 13th century rock-hewn monastery and great views of the town.  Or, take an excursion to Yemrehanna Kristos, a beautiful church situated in a shallow cave that actually predates the churches of Lalibela.  The drive to Yemrehanna will also give you the opportunity to view the rural countryside and villages of the Ethiopian highlands.  Following lunch, continue your tour of the Lalibela churches. Overnight Hotel.

Day 13 : Lalibela- Addis Ababa 
Fly back to Addis Ababa with Ethiopian airline, retire day Optional souvenir shopping in the afternoon. More over in the evening enjoy Farewell dinner at a traditional Ethiopian restaurant featuring dancers and musicians representing some of the country's many ethnic groups. Overnight Hotel.

Day 03 : Bahirdar
-Morning have boat ride to visit the island Monasteries of Lake Tana and source or the exited of the blue Nile. then afternoon visit the Blue Nile Falls Hotel 35 km to Blue falls 1 hour 30 minuets moderate walk to the Falls, walking shoes preferable overnight Hotel.
 
Day 04 : Bahir dar- Gonder 
- Drive to Gondar Tour the Royal Enclosure, a UNESCO World Heritage site featuring five castles built by a succession of Ethiopian Kings beginning in the early 17th century. Having survived several wars, including air raids during World War 2, the castles are a testament to the resilience of this once mighty African Empire. Visit the church of Debre Birhan Selassie, famous for its religious art and especially its iconic ceiling depicting angels.  Overnight at Hotel.
 
Day 05 : Gondor-Semien National Park
-Drive to the Semien Mountains National Park one of the the high roof of Africa & UNESCO heritage sight, visit Spectacular mountain scenery,  Spotting endemic mammals & Hiking on the escarpment. Semien Lodge 122km to the Lodge +- 4 hours Moderate to tough optional hiking. 30 minuets – 2 hrs. walking shoes required overnight Lodge.
 
Day 06 : semien- Axum
Drive to Axum alongside the Semien Mountains range with spectacular scenery. Non flight day Moderate drive on gravel road with leg stretch walk in between & stop for picture . Overnight Hotel.

Day 07 : full day in Axum
the ancient stelae fields, standing for 2000 years of The archeological sites and St’ Mary of Tsion (Zion) Church the final resting place of the Ark of the Covenant. Hotel Sites and hotels are centrally located Non Flight day Very simple, sandal shoes OK Overnight Hotel.

Day 08 : Axum - Ghiralta Lodge. 
Drive to the Ghiralta Lodge passing the Adwa battlefield, site of Emperor Menelik II's 1895 victory over the invading Italians. Visit the 2,500 year old ruins of Yeha, an ancient moon temple.  Scale a cliff to visit the 6th century Monastery of Debre Damo, perched atop a remote plateau (only men are allowed on the monastery grounds.)  Continue past Adigrat and visit Medhane Alem Kesho one of the Tigray region's oldest and finest rock churches. Overnight Lodge.
